Wide Horizon needs your continued support in order to continue providing its valuable services of Christian Science nursing to the community. Historically Wide Horizon has not turned away patients due to an inability to pay. Our daily fees have been kept as affordable as is fiscally possible and sustainable. This results in a gap between our earned income and the expenses we incur when providing our loving services, which include inpatient and outpatient care, phone consultation, and home visits.
On average, we need to raise $4 out of each $10 required to run our programs and facilities. This adds up to 
about $500,000 each year, depending upon occupancy and earned income. This level of required fundraising is similar to that experienced by many other Christian Science nursing facilities.
While our goal is to be less reliant upon contributions by increasing earned income, the reality is that we will not turn away patients who are unable to afford our services. Consequently, we expect a continued need for funds to meet operational and benevolence needs.

Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, emphasized putting first things first when he stated, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:33). So we strive to do so and hope you can join us in this good work!
